I know there as not been any effort from any of the local councils or Business to invest in the town.
This is leading into problems with local stores! Closing! maybe because most people are buying online.
I guess the only way to keep stores from losing businesses, is to take it online.
I also would like to get Skegness people or Lincolnshire people to work together to make Movie productions in Skegness. Or any people who want to learn acting without the need to pay for it.
I am sure if we aim to create a Media Club in Skegness this would be a start for something that could work from local sponsors or local support to help visitors and the world see Skegness as a Marvel and a place where they can feel good about being! after seeing it on a film online.
I have a Few Good ideas myself for Skegness.
- Skegness Musical ( Based on skegness icons and local tales made into a musical with 100s of dancers in the streets)
- The Skegness Monster (The novelty of some people who think skegness is in Scotland, The Skegness Monster is a Over grown sea Slug that just wants to make friends! But because its big and clumsy we mis-understand its good intentions)
- The Man who went to the disa-pier (This story is about a man who goes to throw himself from the end of the pier of skegness! where it once used to carry on out to the sea with a building at the end! But This story will make you question what happened to him when he fell! and found himself standing on the pier that used to be there! Has he some how time traveled back in time or has he died! and entered a Ghost Pier! Only i know what happens.
But right now i would be very interested in local peoples talents! or maybe you dont know you are tallented yet and just need a nudge of destiny from me.
